Campus Safety Magazine has named Ginger Walker, Director of Emergency Management, as a finalist for the Campus Safety Director of the Year Award. Ginger has extensive knowledge of emergency management in a higher education setting as well as continuity of operations planning. Ginger’s knowledge and experience have been especially vital in the last year as the University responded to Winter Storm Uri, Hurricane Nicholas, and the on-going global COVID-19 pandemic. Campus Safety Magazine captured some of Ginger and her team’s top accomplishments in a recent spotlight article. The winner of the Campus Safety Director of the Year Award will be announced this summer at the Campus Safety Conference East. Congratulations on a job well done, Ginger!
